RB Leipzig hold a serious interest in Sunderland midfielder Jobe Bellingham, who is nineteen years old, but consider the Black Cats' current asking price for the England under-21s international too high. Sky Sport Germany reports that Leipzig are continuing their tradition of targeting young English talent, following their successful acquisition of Jadon Sancho in the past.

Manchester United academy coach Colin Little says England forward Cole Palmer came close to joining the Old Trafford club from Manchester City when he was sixteen years old. The Metro quotes Little as saying they nearly secured Palmer's signature before he committed to City's academy. Imagine how different things might have been if Palmer had made that move!

Liverpool's owners FSG are looking at buying Spanish club Malaga. Sky Sports reports that the American ownership group is considering expanding their football portfolio beyond Liverpool and their other sporting interests.

Newcastle have joined Tottenham, Arsenal, Manchester United, and Liverpool in the race to sign Jonathan David. The Lille striker, who has been prolific in Ligue 1, is attracting interest from multiple Premier League clubs according to Sky Sports. I've watched David a few times this season, and his movement in the box is absolutely sublime.
