Hello and welcome to the Transfer News Podcast. I'm Archer, and it's Saturday the fourteenth of February, two thousand and twenty-six. Valentine's Day, and what better way to celebrate than by dissecting the beautiful game's most intriguing transfer rumors? Let's dive straight in.

Starting with Tottenham, and Thomas Frank's side are reportedly targeting Christian Pulisic. The American winger has impressed since his move away from Stamford Bridge, and Spurs could certainly use his versatility in the final third.

Brighton's Bart Verbruggen is attracting serious attention from Bayern Munich and Chelsea. The young Dutch goalkeeper has been exceptional this season, and it's no surprise two European giants are circling for his signature.

Aston Villa are plotting a move for Nottingham Forest's Morgan Gibbs-White. Unai Emery clearly rates the creative midfielder highly, and this could be a fascinating battle between two ambitious clubs with very different trajectories.

Manchester United have Sandro Tonali high on their shortlist. Michael Carrick's side need midfield reinforcements, and the Italian international, currently at Newcastle, would bring quality and tenacity to Old Trafford if they can convince Eddie Howe to sell.

Real Madrid are stepping up their interest in Rodri. The Manchester City midfielder has been absolutely fundamental to Pep Guardiola's success, and losing him would be a massive blow to City's title ambitions.

Juventus are also keen on Tonali, making him their top target. It seems the Newcastle midfielder is one of the most sought-after players this window, with multiple European giants battling for his services.

Liverpool are set to rival Manchester United for Crystal Palace's Adam Wharton. The young midfielder has been turning heads in the Premier League, and both Arne Slot and Michael Carrick see him as a key addition to their squads.

Marcus Rashford wants to stay at Barcelona. The Manchester United academy product has found his form again in Spain, and it appears he's settled in Catalonia and keen to make his loan move permanent.

Juventus want Everton striker Beto. The Portuguese forward hasn't quite found his feet consistently under David Moyes at Goodison Park, and a move to Serie A could reignite his career.

Jean-Philippe Mateta has agreed a move to AC Milan. The Crystal Palace striker has been in excellent form, and Oliver Glasner will need to find a replacement quickly if this deal goes through.

Inter Milan want Liverpool's Curtis Jones on loan. The versatile midfielder has struggled for regular minutes under Arne Slot, and a temporary move to Italy could benefit all parties involved.

Juventus are eyeing both Randal Kolo Muani and Joshua Zirkzee. The Italian giants are clearly in the market for attacking reinforcements, casting their net wide to find the right fit for their system.

Brighton have rejected an approach for Lewis Dunk. The captain remains absolutely crucial to Fabian Hurzeler's plans, and the club have made it clear he's not for sale at any price.

Nottingham Forest have made a thirty-five million pound bid for Mateta. Sean Dyche is clearly determined to bring the Palace striker to the City Ground, though that AC Milan agreement might complicate matters.

Manchester City are keeping tabs on Trent Alexander-Arnold. Pep Guardiola has long admired the Liverpool right-back, and with contract situations being what they are, City are monitoring developments closely.

Tottenham could pay five million pounds for Andy Robertson. The Liverpool left-back has lost his starting spot to recent arrivals, and Thomas Frank might see him as experienced cover or competition at Spurs.

Aston Villa are targeting Ruben Loftus-Cheek. Unai Emery worked with him briefly and clearly sees value in bringing the versatile midfielder to Villa Park to add depth to his Champions League-chasing squad.

Finally, Villa are also interested in Mateta. It seems every ambitious club in the league wants the Palace striker, and Unai Emery is throwing his hat into what's becoming a very crowded ring.
