Hello and welcome to the Transfer News Podcast! I'm Archer, your guide through the beautiful chaos of the Premier League transfer window. Grab your coffee, settle in, and let's dive into today's stories because there's plenty to get through.

Starting with some transfer tug-of-war news, Liverpool are set to rival Manchester United for Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton. Both clubs are circling one of the most promising young talents in English football, and with Michael Carrick's United in interim mode, this could be a fascinating battle.

Marcus Rashford, currently on loan at Barcelona, reportedly wants to stay at the Catalan club permanently. The forward has found his form in Spain, and it seems he's keen to make the temporary move a lasting one.

Juventus have turned their attention to Everton striker Beto, looking to bolster their attacking options. David Moyes might be open to discussions depending on Everton's own recruitment plans.

In confirmed moves, Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta has agreed a transfer to AC Milan. Oliver Glasner will need to find a replacement quickly, especially with the interest swirling around his squad.

Inter Milan want Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones on loan for the remainder of the season. Arne Slot will have to weigh up squad depth against giving the youngster valuable playing time in Serie A.

Raheem Sterling is reportedly in talks with seven different clubs as he seeks his next destination. The experienced winger has plenty of options on the table, and it'll be interesting to see where he lands.

Staying with Juventus, they're also eyeing both Randal Kolo Muani and Joshua Zirkzee as they look to overhaul their forward line. The Italian giants are certainly ambitious this window.

Brighton have rejected an approach for captain Lewis Dunk. Fabian Hurzeler is standing firm on keeping his defensive leader, which is hardly surprising given Dunk's importance to the Seagulls.

Nottingham Forest, managed by Sean Dyche, have made a thirty-five million pounds bid for Mateta before his Milan agreement. That ship appears to have sailed, but it shows Forest's intent to spend.

Manchester City are keeping tabs on Trent Alexander-Arnold's situation at Liverpool. Pep Guardiola is always looking ahead, though prising him away from Anfield would be quite the coup.

Tottenham, now under Thomas Frank, could pay just five million pounds for Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson. The Scottish international might be tempted by regular football as he enters the latter stages of his career.

Despite earlier speculation, there will be no Real Madrid exit for Trent Alexander-Arnold this window. The right-back is staying put at Liverpool for now.

Mohamed Salah remains a prime target for the Saudi Pro League. The Egyptian superstar continues to attract enormous interest from the Middle East, though Liverpool will be desperate to keep him.

Aston Villa are targeting former Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek. Unai Emery clearly sees value in bringing the England international to Villa Park.

Villa are also interested in Mateta, though that Milan agreement rather complicates matters. Emery is certainly looking at his attacking options.

Ibrahima Konate's contract situation at Liverpool remains unsettled. Arne Slot will want clarity on the French defender's future sooner rather than later.

Chelsea are open to selling Enzo Fernandez, which is quite remarkable given the massive fee they paid for him. Liam Rosenior appears ready to reshape his midfield significantly.

Chelsea have also made a move for young talent Jacquet, continuing their policy of recruiting promising prospects from across Europe.

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner is reportedly on Manchester United's radar as they consider permanent managerial options. Glasner has impressed at Selhurst Park, and United are doing their homework.

Aston Villa are eyeing a return for Tammy Abraham from Roma. The striker could provide the goalscoring threat Emery is looking for.

Atletico Madrid want Wolves midfielder Gomes. Rob Edwards will be keen to keep hold of key players as Wolves navigate their season.

Manchester City are preparing an offer for Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi. Pep Guardiola is looking to strengthen his defensive options with one of England's most promising centre-backs.

City have also made a move for Anderson, showing their typical activity in the transfer market across multiple positions.

Everton are eyeing Arsenal's Ben White. David Moyes would love to bring in the versatile defender, though Mikel Arteta is unlikely to let him go easily.

In goalkeeper news, Arsenal have signed Votikova amid a crisis between the sticks. Injuries have forced Arteta's hand, and the emergency signing should provide cover.

Arsenal have also signed Dixon from Stoke City, adding another young prospect to their ranks. Arteta continues to build for the future.
