Welcome to Transfer News Podcast: Injury & Suspension Update! I'm your host, Archer, coming to you with today's hot-off-the-press injury and suspension news that's causing fantasy managers and football fans alike to pull their hair out. If I had a pound for every time someone asked me about Cole Palmer's muscle issue this week, I could probably afford to buy Chelsea myself... though looking at their injury list, maybe I'll pass on that investment opportunity! Let's dive into the mayhem across the Premier League. Starting with Arsenal, who currently have five players on their injury list. There's concern around Bukayo Saka with his hamstring issue giving him just a fifty percent chance of playing in the upcoming fixture. Kai Havertz is also nursing a hamstring injury but isn't expected back until the first of June. Gabriel Jesus continues his recovery from a knee injury with no clear return date, while new signing Riccardo Calafiori has a seventy-five percent chance of featuring despite his knee issue. Tomiyasu rounds out the Gunners' injuries, with his knee problem keeping him out until June at the earliest. Not ideal timing for Mikel Arteta as the title race intensifies. Over at Aston Villa, Unai Emery is sweating on the fitness of star striker Ollie Watkins, who has a knee injury but maintains a seventy-five percent chance of playing. Ross Barkley's calf issue gives him only a fifty-fifty shot at making the team. Villa have also sent Kaine Kesler-Hayden to Preston North End and Filip Marschall to MK Dons for the remainder of the season as they look to develop their younger talent. Bournemouth are dealing with five players on their injury list. Enes Ünal's knee injury keeps him sidelined with no return date set. Luis Sinisterra has a seventy-five percent chance of playing despite a hamstring issue, while Marcos Senesi and Julián Araujo are both at fifty percent as they build match fitness.
